Your responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud platforms.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and optimal operation.
- Implement security protocols, perform regular system updates (Cisco preferred)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet strategic business objectives.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Skills in IT systems engineering, network administration, or a similar technical role.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with firewalls, routing, switching, and other network technologies.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Java, Python) is an advantage.
- First Experience in Database-Administration (PostgreSQL)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluent in German and English
