  • As a Human Resources Director (m/f/d), you will focus on people and organizational culture by developing and applying the right HR tools to achieve business objectives. The department works closely with other departments to ensure that culture, personnel policies, and HR strategies are well aligned with business goals.
    The role is part of the Management Team (MT) and leads the HR department. The position provides input to the company’s strategy and, together with the other MT members, is jointly responsible for achieving the vision, strategy, and objectives.   • Your main responsibilities include:

    Contribution to Strategic Plans / Organizational Policy

    • Contribute expertise to the development of organizational strategy and policy.
    • Monitor internal and external developments relevant to the organization.
    • Identify trends, assess their relevance, and address them within the organization.
    • (Co-)develop strategic plans in line with the organizational strategy.
    • Advise MT on strategic HR matters.
    • Propose (investment) initiatives and present them within the MT.
    • Operate and delegate from a multi-year strategy perspective.


    HR Policy and Annual Planning

    • Translate strategic plans into HR policies, annual plans, objectives, KPIs, budgets, and activities.
    • Align annual plans and activities with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Communicate annual plans to department staff and relevant functions.
    • Ensure efficient and optimal execution of annual plans.
    • Analyze operational data, report results, and manage based on KPIs.


    Advisory and Support

    •  Provide advice and support to MT members on HR-related issues.
    • Coach MT members on compliance with HR processes and encourage ownership.
    • Inform, apply, explain, and execute HR policies and procedures.
    • Address HR-related queries.


    People and Culture

    • Promote company policies and culture throughout the organization.
    • Support talent development and succession planning with department managers.
    • Develop and implement training programs.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive culture.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor employee engagement initiatives.


    Change Manage

    • Guide organizational changes and transformations.
    • (Co-)develop communication and implementation plans for changes.


    HR Tools and Systems

    • Develop and implement HR tools and systems.
    • Monitor and evaluate HR processes for compliance with laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., cGMP+), in collaboration with QHSE.
    • Optimize HR processes and systems.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient HR administration.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
    • Collaborate with and support the Works Council.


    Program and Project Management

    • Initiate and participate in local and global projects.
    • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient operations.


    Leadership

    • Lead, coach, and motivate employees.
    • Conduct performance reviews and appraisals.
    • Handle personnel matters such as time reporting, leave, and absence.
    • Manage onboarding and training.


    QHSE Policy Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with legal and company obligations and QHSE procedures.


    Your profile:

    • Degree in HRM / Business Administration
    • Several years of experience in a similar role
    • Several years of successful leadership experience
    • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
