QA Team Leader

  • We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a QA Team Leader to join our team.

    As a QA Team leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that products (and service) meet the established standards of quality according to BS22716 (Cosmetics GMP).

    You will also be supervising work and providing guidance for the work undertaken by QA Chemist.

  • Main duties/Responsibilities

    • Implement and deliver GMP training according to ISO22716 and corporate quality requirements
    • Execute and supervise internal audit program and associated quality assurance activities
    • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
    • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
    • Influence the strategic direction of the QA department
    • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
    • Support the company with continuous improvement program
    • Proposes preventive measures, promotes and implements improvement programs
    • Responsible for the training of people on the quality management system
    • Administer and supervise deviation management and change control activities
    • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions of audits and deviations
    • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
    • Review and release of Master Batch Records and Master Cleaning Records
    • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes/findings of quality activities¬†
    • As a member of the Corporate Quality Committee represent the company regarding quality matters. Responsible to deliver corporate requirements as necessary
    • Perform personnel reviews of sub-ordinate staff and recommend training and development needs
    • Plan and review work undertaken by sub-ordinate staff

    Requirements

    • Certifications including Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
    • Product or industry-specific experience
    • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
    • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
    • Effective communicator at all levels within the
    • Situational awareness of Workplace Safety
    • Strong Time Management Skills
    • Willingness to travel for training purposes
