Apprentice Stock Controller

  • CARBOGEN AMCIS Ltd are looking to recruit a Apprentice Stock Controller to join the warehousing department at our Manchester site. The successful candidate will undertake Supply Chain Operator Level 2 Standard with Mantra learning whilst assisting all stock controlling activities undertaken by the departmental team members.

  • Your Tasks:

    • To ensure all materials delivered are in good condition and the relevant paperwork is completed.
    • To ensure they are stored under the corrected conditions to maintain their quality, as described in the Material Data Safety Sheets provided.
    • To provide materials as requested by the Bill of Materials in Standard Process Instructions.
    • Accurately weigh powders into suitable container for safe handling and movement.
    • To provide stock materials as requested for use by PR&D.
    • To arrange dispatch of samples to customers and for off-site analysis.
    • To ensure all relevant documentation accompanies the consignment, and correct packaging, markings and labelling is used
    • To perform stock checks as required
    • Recording all materials delivered to, and stock movements within, the company using Axapta
    • The job holder must be aware of all current Standard Operating Procedures in force within his work area, and of other work areas in which he may work from time to time
    • Gain shipping qualifications (Air, Sea & Road)
    • To perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse.
    • To carry out other duties as may be required from time to time.
