Analytical Development Chemist

Main duties and Responsibilities

• To develop and implement new analytical test procedures as required in the company’s operations
• To perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of various materials in support of development projects
• To plan project work and communicate timelines to enable Project Chemists and Team Leaders to correctly and accurately plan projects
• To maintain accurate records of all work carried out
• To manage workload and project documentation to level suitable for external examination
• To present reports, both written and verbal, when required, to both customers and work colleagues

Requirements

• Our ideal candidate will be proactive, hands on and pragmatic team player.
• Qualified to at least degree (BSc) level in chemistry related vocation. Higher education level preferable.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in various analytical chemistry techniques, such as HPLC, GC, NMR, MS or ICP.
• Demonstrated experience in developing analytical methods.
• Good communication skills, flexibility and teamworking.
